He is survived by: his wife Carol Duarte; his children, Kimberly Chavez (J. J. Chavez) and Jesse Duarte (Lorretta Duarte); his siblings, Elfie Mckie, Adela Caddell (Donnie Caddell), Jose Duarte and Lupe Duarte (Criselda Duarte) of Newark, CA; and his grandchildren, Kaydence Chavez, Krista Chavez, Arrissa Duarte and Juliessa Duarte. He is also survived by his family and friends.
