She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Mordan and Ruby Fornia Gadbury Beasley; her husband Melvin Kartchner; her siblings, Melvin, Horace Wayne Beasley and Betty Jo Beasley; and her grandson Joshua Angell.
She is survived by: her children, Steve (Carye Lou Angell) of Carlsbad, John Lee (Stormie Angell) of Carlsbad and Sara Angell (John Lang) of Houston, TX; her sister Melba Humphrey of Clayton; and her grandchildren, Deana Crona, Eric Angell, Amanda Angell, John Angell and Kimberly Bertrand. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
