It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alicia Sotelo of Carlsbad, New Mexico, born in Cerro, New Mexico, who passed away on June 11, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Estanislao Palomares and Amelia Palomares (Casares); her husband Jose Sotelo, Sr.; and her siblings, Antonio, Ramon, Anceho Palomares, Teresa Venegas and Mancimiana Galinda.
She is survived by: her children, Elida Olivas (Amelia Quezada), Annabella Hernandez (Marcos), Jose Sotelo (Cynthia) and Juana Chavez (Jesus Sotelo); and her siblings, Piedad Chavarria, Santiago Palomares, Cornelio Palomares, Florenzio Palomares and Valentine Palomares. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 16 great- grandchildren.
