It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfredo Gonzalez (Carlsbad, New Mexico), born in Presidio, Texas, who passed away on March 29, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Petronillo Gonzalez and Bertha Gonzalez; his wife Enriqueta; his siblings, Cruz Gonzalez, Bertha Hernandez, Elvita Gonzalez and Mede Gonzalez; and his grandsons, Victor, Randall and Gilbert.
He is survived by: his children, Sally Alvers of St. Louis, Lily Contreras of Hobbs, Carol Vallejos, Birdie Melendrez of Carlsbad, Lorenzo Gonzalez of Artesia and Pedro Gonzalez of Carlsbad. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
