It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessica Chavez of Capitan, New Mexico, born in Ruidoso, New Mexico, who passed away on June 8, 2021, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Walter, Trinidad Balatche, Lewis, Ollie Chino, Louis and Leonilla Chavez; and her brother Michael Anthony Chavez.
She is survived by: her husband Frank R. Chavez; her children, Antonio Baca and Sararose Chavez; her parents, Mary Jane Chino and Anthony Chavez; her siblings, Ryan Garcia (Amy), Bridget Chino (Ruben Crispen), Selena Herrera (Michelle Gonzales), Laquita Melton (Johnathan) and Rosemary Nix (Billy); her godparents, Jimmy and Joann Chavez; her close friend Tavon Holmes; and her cousins, Donnell and Daniel McFadden. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, many cousins, and nieces and nephews.
