Glenneth Shafer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glenneth Shafer of Capitan, New Mexico, born in Carrizozo, New Mexico, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2024 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. LaMay and Nettie LaMay; and her brothers, Leroy J. LaMay and William Dale LaMay. She is survived by: her husband Joe D. Shafer; her children, Donny Shafer (Sara) and Tammy Auburg (Brian); her siblings, Evelyn Petree, Kenneth LaMay and John E. LaMay; her grandsons, Cody Candelaria (Frenz) and Andrew Candelaria; and her great grandchildren, Haley, Gabriel and Coraline.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Church of Christ (103 Fort Stanton Rd, Alto, NM 88312).
