He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcelino Romero and Elisa DeHerrera; and his siblings, Carl, Tomas, Manuel Romero, Norman DeHerrera and Virginia Sanchez.
He is survived by: his son Lawrence Parson (Melissa) of Rio Rancho, NM; and his brother Leonard DeHerrera (Rose) of Las Vegas, NM. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
