He is survived by: his mother Velma Duran of Buena Vista; his daughter Krystle Duran; his grandchildren, Alexis, Jesus of Josiah, JR and Ava; his siblings, Cleo Montoya (David), Sally Valdez (Joe Gurule), Berna Duran, Annette Martinez, Larry Duran (Esther), Ronald Duran (Cecilia Romero) and Mario Duran (Amy); his stepchildren, Charlotte Vasquez (John), Shirley Vasquez (Ruben Jr.), John Gonzales, Jessica Gonzales (Alfonso Martinez) and Bertha Gonzales-Espinoza (Christopher); his niece Felisha Montoya; his nephew Joshua Martinez; his uncle Tony Pino; and his godson Ivan Pino. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the St. Gertrude Church (1 Church Plaza, Mora, NM 87732). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
