He was predeceased by: his parents, Medardo D. Gomez and Mary Salazar Gomez; his wife Agnes Gomez; his son Adolfo "Duffy" Gomez; his grandsons, Ruben Gomez and Brian Gomez; and his siblings, May Gomez, Celia Gomez, Cecilia Serna, Rebecca Gonzales, Francisco Gomez, Medardo Gomez, Jr. and Jose Serna.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joseph Gomez of Corona, CA, Gloria Fernandez (Lee) of Bloomfield, NM, Alvina Aguirre of Aztec, NM, Darlene Cruz of Aztec, NM and Dolores Prado (Roger) of Blanco, NM; his daughters, Nancy Adair (Johnnie) of Bloomfield, NM, Mary Martinez (George) of Aztec, NM and Valorie Gomez of Aztec, NM; his sisters-in-law, Mary Ludwig (Clayton) of Bayfield, CO, Emily Anderson of Aztec, NM and Reina Lopez; his friend Alice Roybal; and also Terry of Bloomfield, NM.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
All are asked to wear face masks and follow COVID-safe practices.
