She was predeceased by: her parents, Enrique Valdez and Cornelia Valdez; her husband Jose Eugenio Gomez (Gene); her son Eugene P. Gomez; and her brothers, Daniel, Eustacio and Jose Albino Valdez.
She is survived by: her former husband Gene Gomez; her daughters, Elizabeth, Dorthy and Darlene Gomez; her sister Lorraine Medellin (Frank); her grandchildren, Heather C. Gomez, Eugene Mitchell Gomez, Chris Valverde (Whitney) and Jovanni Barraza-Gomez; and her great grandchildren, Alexander, Ayden Valverde, Peyton and Coral Duncan. She is also survived by 4 children, 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
