As we bid Jalyn farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jalyn is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick Schilhabel and Eleanor Schilhabel; her grandson Daniel Phelps; her sister Diana Pearson; and her son Daniel Phelps.
She is survived by: her husband Terry Vandruff; her daughters, Cyd Peterson, Torie Thompson and Teresa Coen (Chris); and her siblings, Nikki Roddy (Keith), Jon Schilhabel and David Schilhabel (Shelly). She is also survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (902 W Blanco Blvd, Bloomfield, NM 87413). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
