She was predeceased by: her parents, Commodore Dewey Blevins and Sarah Catherine Lewis; and her siblings, Edith, Louise, Esther, Estle and Jesse.
She is survived by: her husband Billy; and her children, Annette Risley and Roger Layman. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
