He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Molly Manzanares Anaya and Fred Anaya; his son Benjamin Leo Anaya Jr.; his siblings, Jene H. Chavez and Henryetta Chavez; his parents-in-law, Joe and Ruby Barela; his great grandchildren, Benjamin Leo Meeks Anaya and Jesus Garcia; his wife Vangie M. Anaya; his children, Fred J. Anaya (Wendy), Anna Klipsch (Donavon) and Pearla M. Rivera (Juddy); his grandchildren, Gloria Rivera, Patrick Chavez, Christin N. Meeks, Katrina Chaves, Ashley Veldez, Breanna R. Marks, Abbigail M. Anaya and Felissity Anaya; and his sisters, Angie Montano and Patty Browning (David Browning).
