He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Lauer and Mana Lauer; his wife Roberta June Shirey; and his siblings, Rev. John Lauer, Richard Lauer, Harvey Lauer and Mary Ann Buckingham.
He is survived by: his daughter Beverly J.; his son-in-law Jeffrey Barton; his grandson David Barton; and his sisters-in-law, Cis Lauer of Grapevine, Sharon Lauer of Lerna Illinois and Mary Lauer of Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
