He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudy Montoya and Josie Montoya; his grandparents, Haroldo and Minnie Montoya; his brother Steven Montoya; and his nephew Danny Montoya.
He is survived by: his son David Montoya (Veronica Vero); his granddaughter Dominique Montoya Romero; and his brothers, Lawrence (Debbie), Joey (Irene) and Andrew (Helen). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
