He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence W. Savage and Kathryn Savage (Patch); his stepdaughter Penny Sue Smith; his wife Linda R. Smith; his children, Larry D. Savage (Mary) of Soldier, KS, Alvin L. Savage (Tena) of Newton, KS, Susan Redger (Rick) of Newton, KS and Tammie Schmidt (Jim) of Newton, KS; his stepson Jim Rogers (Debbie) of Wichita, KS; his brothers, Claude Savage (Pat) of Brea, CA and Lyle Savage of Mayetta, KS; and his stepsiblings, Deloris Beam of Circleville, KS, Diana Wilson (Willy) of Holton, KS, Danny VanDonge (Shirley) of Havensville, KS and Donnie VanDonge (Elvie) of Topeka, KS. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
