Juanita Quintana Obituary

Juanita Quintana, age 95, surrounded by family, joined the Lord peacefully on December 19, 2022, in Bernalillo, New Mexico, where she was a lifelong resident. She was born July 28, 1927, to Valentin and Cleotilde Benavidez. She married the love of her life, Ezequiel Quintana, on April 8, 1947. Juanita's family was the most important thing to her. She was a proud mother of 6 children, 19 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. Her family will fondly remember her cheerful whistle while she visited with loved ones and her feisty, fiery personality. She took great joy in going to dances with friends, watching novelas, sewing and shopping.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, her parents, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, and 3 grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Helen (husband Andrew), Carmen (husband +Michael), Pinky (husband Arthur), MaryAnn, Sally (husband Gene), son Ezequiel, and niece Genevieve (husband +Jessie).

Juanita will be missed dearly, always loved, and never forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace.
