She was predeceased by: her parents, Felipe Perea and Ignacita Perea; her daughter Rose Carabajal; her grandson Michael Themoke; and her brother Benny Perea.

She is survived by: her husband James Carabajal; her children, Roberta Candelaria, Wilfred Carbajal, Felipe Carabajal, Tommie Carabajal, Christopher Carabajal and Ignacita Carabajal; her grandchildren, Anna, Demetria, Denise, Alfred, Jose, Alexis, Araianna, Stasia, Andrew, Isaac, Natilla, Krysta, Damien, Leanna, Aaliyah, Hailee and Santiermo; and her great grandchildren, Michael, Gabriel, Helios and Raphel.
