With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ernie Montoya of Bernalillo, New Mexico, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Liberato and Victoriana Montoya; his parents, Ernesto "Tata" Montoya and Mary Romero Madore; his stepfather Ervin Madore; his father-in-law Eliseo Saavedra; and his brother-in-law Gerald Saavedra.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Montoya; his children, Ernest M. Montoya III and Amanda Torres (Raul); his granddaughters, Aviana and Amarae Torres; his daughter Charmayne Marquez; his granddaughter Madison Marra; his sister Barbara Cordova; and his mother-in-law Jenny Saavedra.
