She was predeceased by: her parents, Procopio Silva and Maria Silva; her husband Fermin G. Chavez; her son Fermin G Chavez Jr.; her granddaughter Deanna Chavez; her great grandchild Emery Jost; and her brothers, Gillie Silva, Patricio Silva, Jose P. Silva Jr., Amarante Silva and Ivan Silva.
She is survived by: her children, Bernard Chavez (Mardee), Jerome Chavez (Holly), George Chavez (Teresa), Clarence Chavez (Lynn), Della Willis (Jerry) and Jacqueline Ross (Derrick); her caregivers, Erin Barreras, Stephanie VanCuren of Harmony and Sally; and her grandsons, Jason Chavez, Sean Willis, Garrett Ross and Conner Chavez.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (7 Church Loop, Tome, NM 87060). A rosary will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
