He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert H. Silva; and his brother Andrew Rudy Silva. He is survived by: his mother Betty J Silva; his siblings, Gilbert Anthony Silva, George Silva, Greg Silva, Sharon Salas and Monica Cosme; and his children, Valeri Silva, Aaron Silva, Paul Silva, Salvador Silva, Gilbert Silva and Sharon Silva.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the ALS Association, an organization Paul felt strongly about.
