We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2024, at the age of 44, Michael Martin Mead of Belen, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Michael Martin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael Martin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Anne Mead; his children, Dominic, Paul, Madison and Mackenzie; his mother Sandra McBride; and his brother Mathew Mead.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (7 Church Loop, Tome, NM 87060). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
