He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Alberto Luna and Rita Jaramillo Luna; his siblings, Mateo Luna, Tomasita Roybal, Florian Luna and Trinnie Otero; and his grandson Gerald Dimas Luna II.
He is survived by: his wife Evangelina Luna; his children, Gerald Luna (Myra), Donna Carranza (Joe), Denise Irizarry (Tito) and DeeAnn Rhynard (Mike); his grandchildren, Angelica Jackson, Matthew Luna, Justin Castro, Ryan Castro, Rocio Carranza, Dallas Carranza, Adriana Carranza, Pedro Carranza, David Carranza, Santiago Freire, Javier Irizarry, Adrian Luna, Damien Rhynard, Victoria Rhynard and Gabriel Rhynard; his great grandchildren, Ariona Jackson, Malik Jackson, Evangelina Luna, Alexis Luna, Dimitrius Luna, Giovani Hernandez, Alonso Jozwiak, Kemon Hall Jr., Ke'Mari Hall, Alyssa Castro, Audrina Castro and Adryan Castro; and his siblings, Frank Luna, Elma Griego, Odelia Chavez Oralia Garcia and Rita Casias.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church. A Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
