He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Ferdinand Wendel and Alma Elsie Steffan; his wife Kae Rae Patterson; his daughter Tina Schnitzlein; and his siblings, Ernie, Ruby and Ima.
He is survived by: his former wife Louise Jeffcoat; and his grandchildren, Nathan Wagner, Michael O'Regan, Sean O'Regan, Shannon O'Regan and Breanna Schnitzlein.
