He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Jose and Ernestina Barela; his siblings, Fred, Cecilia and Florela; his siblings-in-law, Abran, Earl and Bernice; and his parents, Pilar Ortega and Leonor Vigil Ortega.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Barela Ortega; his sons, Andrew (Lynn) and Angelo Ortega; his grandchildren, Brittany Rae Coleman (Dylan), Gavin, Gabriel, Garik, Brandy Rae Ortega, Christopher and Caity; his great grandchildren, Xander, Kaelem, Danny, Buddy, Caadyn Rae, Alyssa and Brianna; and his siblings, Alex, Celestino (Mary Lou), Jimmy (Lorena), Tony (Maria), Bernice, Connie, Eva Ortega and Barela.
