He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn Chavez; his children, Yvonne Lovato and Jason Chavez; his stepchildren, Ruben, Daniel Abeyta, Katherine Thompson and Caroline Castillo; and his siblings, Larry Chavez, Sarah Martinez, Tina Romero, Prescilla Gonzales (Bob) and Debbie Pappas (Asimikas). He is also survived by many loving grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
