He was predeceased by: his parents, James O. Charon and Myrtle H. Charon; his parents-in-law, Emilio and Teresa Trevizo; his brother Jimmy Charon; his siblings-in-law, Merle Steinman, Henry, Robert Trevizo and Judy Charon; and his grandson Brady Charon.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores; his children, Dan Charon (Amanda) of Butte, Montana and Jennifer Palomarez (Rob Villalobos) of Silver City; and his siblings, Joe Charon of Wolverton, Minnesota and Nancy Steinman (Jackie Lovesee) of Lakota. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
