He is survived by: his mother Mary Padilla of Hurley; his wife Mary Helen Padilla of Bayard; his children, Martha Salas (Cruz) of Bayard and Mark Peru (Natalie) of Tucson, AZ; his siblings, Merlinda Gutierrez (Joe) of Hurley, Leo "Polo" Padilla (Donna) of Arenas Valley and Bernice Padilla (Jose) of Hurley; and his grandsons, Cruz Salas, Nicholas Salas (Antonette), Benjamin Salas, Andrew Peru, Matthew Peru, Marcus Peru and Austin Montoya. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren.
