She was predeceased by: her parents, Ysidro Hernandez and Josefa B. Hernandez; her husband Jesus Candelaria; her siblings, Tomas Duran, Juana Trujillo, Rosa Trujillo, Lupe Sanchez and Socorro Eres; and her brothers-in-law, Ramon Soliz, Daniel Tovar, Elizar Trujillo and Leo Trujillo.
She is survived by: her children, Enrique "Henry" Candelaria (Lillian) of Rio Rancho, NM, Johnny Candelaria of Bayard, Bobby Candelaria of Bayard, Antonio Candelaria (Sylvia) of Bayard, Ricardo Candelaria of Arenas Valley, Jesus Candelaria (Barbara) of Santa Clara and Betty Herrera (Ray) of Bayard; her siblings, Pete Hernandez of Las Cruces, Mary Soliz of Fullerton, CA and Dora Tovar; and her brothers-in-law, Gilbert Sanchez and Tony Eres. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Terrazas Funeral Chapels (1 Fort Bayard Rd, Santa Clara, NM 88026). A rosary was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (340 Mayo St, Bayard, NM 88023). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery.
