It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel Ortiz Torres of Bayard, New Mexico, who passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Torres and Josefina Torres; and his brother Victor Torrez. He is survived by: his niece Patricia "Patty" Trujillo; his nephews, Brandon Cuevas and Silverio Torres, Jr.; his sons, Manuel (Aimee Hern-Torres) and Narciso Torres (Lila); his siblings, Olga Neff, Linda Strass, Virginia Cuevas and Silverio Torres; and his grandchildren, Keana, Renee and Narciso Jr.. He is also survived by three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
