He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel M. Salas and Juanita Valerio Salas; and his brother Manuel "Manny" Salas. He is survived by: his wife Ramona Salas of Bayard; his children, Larry Salas Jr. of Albuquerque, Isaac Salas of Albuquerque, Yvonne Hernandez (Michael) of Bayard and Lillian Salas (David Godoy) of Carlsbad, NM; his siblings, David Salas of San Antonio, TX, Robert "Bobby" Salas of Sierra Vista, AZ and Sally Salas of Albuquerque; and his sister-in-law Lucille Salas of Bayard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
