She was predeceased by: her parents, Julio Vega and Jenny Vega; her husband Antonio M. Artiaga; her sisters, Gloria Vega and Pricilla Parra; and her close friend Angie Ortiz.
She is survived by: her great grandchild Roman Artiaga; her children, Annette Amador (David), Lorraine Artiaga, Sandra Ortiz (Louis), Stephanie Artiaga, Patricia Pena (Pat), Toni Stegent (Julio), Ray Artiaga (Loretta) and Daniel Espinoza (Linda); her niece Jenny Mata; her nephews, Frankie and Ray Vega; and her close friends, Reina Chavez and Diane Miranda. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
