She was predeceased by: her husband Alfredo M. Madrid; her parents, Martin Okonkwo of Our Lady and Jose Borunda (Marina Ordones); and her son William "Bill" Madrid. She is survived by: her siblings, Belen Muniz, Ramon, Santos and Jimmy Borunda; her daughters, Cecilia Lawrence of Bayard, Luisa Espinosa of Arvada, CO and Barbara Tinsley; her grandchildren, Virginia "Gina" LaBadie (Anthony), James Lawrence Sr. (Tanya), Jacob Lawrence (Janelle), Richelle Rodriguez (Joseph), Kathy Espinosa, Sandra Cazales (Salvador), Peaches Espinosa, Jenny Tinsley and Erica Tinsley; and her nieces, Corina Sandoval and Isabel "Chavela" Salas. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
