He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Armendariz and Bonifacia Soto Armendariz; his wife Rosenda Armendariz; his granddaughter Amanda Quesada; and his siblings, Ignacio Hernandez, Ramon Armendariz, Hortencia Placencio, Clorinda Lerma and Consuelo Muñiz.
He is survived by: his children, Eddie Armendariz (Mary) of Kearny, AZ, Steve Armendariz (Kathy) of Arenas Valley, Michael Armendariz (Susie) of Bayard, Gene Hood of Bayard, Irene Shown (Ed) of Port Angeles, WA and Anna Barker (Ralph) of El Paso, TX; and his sisters, Carmen Gomez (Michael) of Bayard and Esperanza Jaquez (Ernest) of Las Cruces. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
