It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Consuelo V. Salas (Bayard, New Mexico), who passed away on February 13, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Juan Valerio and Maria Valerio; her husband Jose M. Salas; her daughters, Lucy Arellano (Gary), Priscilla Laurent (John) and Dora Summy (Scott); her grandchildren, Brenda, Sammy, Randy, Jocelyn, Monica, Kristen, Kari, Melyssa, Steven, Dylan and Erica; her sisters-in-law, Beatrice Valerio and Esther French; her former husband Pepe Salas; and her grandsons, Johnny Joe Laurent and Bryan Summy. She was also cherished by seventeen great-grandchildren.
