Arcencio T. Chavez Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arcencio T. Chavez (Bayard, New Mexico), born in Quemado, New Mexico, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro A. Chavez and Josephine Thompson Chavez; his siblings, Jose, Pedro, Eustacio, Santiago, Emilia Gonzales, Connie Trujillo, Margaret Cheshire, Stella Tafoya and Mary Jean Garcia; and his godson Joseph Tafoya.
He is survived by: his wife Olga Salce Chavez; his sons, Tim (Connie) and Nick (Rox Anne); his grandchildren, Amy, Krista, Sydnee and Codee; his great grandchildren, Larissa, Christina, Erica, Abrianna, Elena and Michael; and his siblings, Candelario (Tommie), Alex, Priscilla Stahl and Gloria Moore. He is also survived by fourteen siblings.
Due to NMDOH COVID-19 restrictions, attendance at Our Lady of Fatima may not exceed 75 persons.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Partners in Hope, St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
