He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrado Legarda and Leonor B. Legarda; his daughter Anita Legarda; his grandchildren, Lisa Legarda and Ronald Gavaldon; his great grandchild Alizandra Jasso; and his sisters, Rita Benavidez and Beatrice Pena.
He is survived by: his son Danny Legarda (Cheryl); his wife Ruth Castorena Legarda; his children, Alfredo C. Legarda Jr., Ernesto Legarda (Joann), Raul Legarda (Ivy), David Legarda, Gary Legarda, Jennie Gavaldon, Velia Legarda, Susan Schwers (Jeff) and Denise Legarda; his siblings, Salvador Legarda, Lorenza Bencomo, Cecilia Hauoli and Ramona Giesbrech; and his pet Daisy. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren, 25 great-great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
