She was predeceased by: her former husband Laverne Hunter; her parents, Mary Sisneros Archuleta and Charlie Archuleta; and her brothers, James Archuleta and Ted Archuleta.
She is survived by: her husband John Mares; her children, Robert Abeyta and Mary Ann Abeyta Anchondo of Yvette Abeyta; her stepdaughter Tracy Hunter; her siblings, Dan Kingsley, Ron Archuleta, Alice Chavez, Lala Dunlap, Berlinda Vorhies and Lovetta Vigil; and her grandchildren, Rayanna and Ray.
