He was predeceased by: his parents, Remigio Padilla Sr. and Isabel Padilla (Martin); his half-brothers, Lionel Tafoya and Leo Tafoya; and his siblings, Helen Candelaria (Padilla) and Isaac F. Padilla Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Socorro Padilla; his daughter Lynette Bates; his grandchildren, Jessie Bates, Page Bates and Jones Bates; and his siblings, Jake Padilla and Ruth Garcia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Harvest of Hope at 308 W. Broadway, Farmington, NM.
