He was predeceased by: his daughter Jerika Jade Rivas-Anaya; his uncles, Dean Anaya, Marvin Garcia, Kenneth Youell and Joey Anaya; his sister Le'Al Anaya; and his grandfathers, Jim Shay (Florence), Joe Anaya (Angelina) and Joe Lobato (Lillie).
He is survived by: his parents, Leo Anaya and Elsie Shay-Tafoya (John); his wife Valerie Anaya; his children, Esaia Anaya, Caludia Anaya and Corrina Anaya; and his siblings, Jeremy Anaya (Karen), Jared Anaya (Melinda) and Amanda Anaya (Art).
