It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David Harold Zittel of Aztec, New Mexico, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 74, on October 27, 2022. He was predeceased by: his brother Terry Zittel; and his parents, Harold L Zittel and Lelia P Zittel (Galloway). He is survived by: his significant other Renee; his daughters, LiAnn DeFlorian (John) of Arnold, MO and Michelle Anderson (Mark Freidline) of Kalispell, MT; his grandchildren, Ashley Byington, Braden Anderson and Kenna Anderson; his brother Howie Cisler of Independence, MO; and his stepsister Peggy Ann Hain (Bill) of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, cousins.

From that first fishing vacation on Conchas reservoir to sharing family memories that join us together. His strength was his reserved counsel full of wisdom and candid honesty. For us on earth, I think we will sense his presence out in nature fishing on a lake flipping a jig, walking the arroyos or hunting in the woods. May God's hand keep you safe--amen.
