He was predeceased by: his parents, Bettie Ruth Gilbert Thrasher and Harold Thrasher; his grandparents, Edwin, Naomi Gilbert, Pearl and Claude Thrasher; and his brother James Thrasher (Pork).

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Thrasher; his sons, Daniel Thrasher and Craig Thrasher (Christina); his sisters, Debbie Cagle (Lonnie) of Flomot and Patty Kimbell (James Lynn) of Turkey; and his grandchildren, Kaylee Thrasher, Hope Thrasher, Kenzie Thrasher and Logan Thrasher.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or convoyofhope.com.
