He is survived by: his wife Nancy Contreras; his children, Michael Contreras, Lisa Rodriguez (Robert) and Samantha Munoz (Casey); his siblings, Victor Contreras, Sammy Contreras, Ervey Cano, Ann Franco, Judy Chavarria, Rachel Tesillo, Minnie Rodriguez and Sally Delgado; and his grandchildren, Haley Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez Jr., Jenessa Rodriguez, Arianny Munoz and Casey Munoz Jr..
