He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Lois Wells; his sister Loretta Johnson; and his brother-in-law Bill Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Janice Dobbs (Arlon) of Tioga, Debbie Miller (Danny) of Carlsbad, NM and Charles "Chuck" T. Wells, Jr.; his brother Bobby G. Wells (Patty) of Jal, NM; and his grandchildren, Lindsey Hall of Pilot Point, Logan Dobbs of Tioga, Stephanie Miller of Carlsbad, NM, Jeremy Wells and Shane Wells of Las Cruces, NM. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
