Talmadge Murphy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Talmadge Murphy of Artesia, New Mexico, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Murphy and Ella May Murphy; his brother Thomas Murphy (Jan); his daughter Cindy Murphy; and his grandson Edwin Lee Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Jean McReynolds; his brother Glenn Murphy (Rita); his children, Ken Murphy (Amy) of Artesia and Kerrie Mitchell (Eddie) of Hobbs, N. M.; his grandchildren, Cody Mitchell, Amanda Murphy, Melissa Mitchell and Tiffany Murphy; and his great grandchildren, Norah Mitchell, Lyla Mitchell, Makayla Draper and Daniel Hardy.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hermosa Church of Christ (2512 W Bush Ave, Artesia, NM 88210).
