He is survived by: his friend Ronald Dale Garthwaite of Artesia; his extended family Western Wear; his wife Patricia Garthwaite; his children, Donnie Garthwaite, Michael Garthwaite (Kaccy), T. J. Garthwaite (Sandra) and Sheryl Swinford (Keith); and his grandchildren, Clayton Garthwaite (Hannah), Ryliegh Hummel (Lee), Billy Swinford, Leeanna Swinford, Christopher Wilson (Nallely), Dallas Garthwaite (Le Ana), Dakota Bolen (Kalani), Tyler Garthwaite and Alyssa Garthwaite.
