With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Byrd (Artesia, New Mexico), born in Eunice, New Mexico, who passed away on December 27, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Byrd and Archie Byrd; and his brother Wesley Dee Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Byrd (Phillips); and his daughters, Jodie Atwood (Daniel Atwood) of Casper, WY, Christie McKnight (Lee McKnight Jr.) of Casper, WY and Brandie Byrd of Artesia, NM. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
