It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Retta Pinson (Artesia, New Mexico), born in Dublin, Texas, who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bishop and Thelma Bishop; her brother Walter Bishop; her husband Charles Pinson; and her brother Jimmy Bishop.
She is survived by: her children, Chuck Pinson (Leslie), Stephen Pinson (Renee) and Michelle Drake (Billy); her brother Bobby Bishop (Janette); her grandchildren, Stephanie Jones, Amber Weaver, Bryce Pinson, Braxton White, Shawni Pinson, McKenna Drake, Evelyn Drake and Emily Drake; and her great grandchildren, Christa Weaver, Pyper Jones, Abby Weaver, Dakota Elliot, Zoey White, Urijiah White, Judah Pinson, Cash Preece, Everest Pinson and Justice Pinson.
