In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Refugia leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Refugia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Rivas Vargas and Oralia Deanda Contreras; and her brother Martin Vargas Jr.. She is survived by: her fiancé Jose Gomez; her sons, Leslie Roberts and John Sosa; and her siblings, Henry Vargas (Betty) and Anna Angulo.
