She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Norwood and Eunice King Norwood; her son James Andy Tidwell; and her great grandchild Cy James Palmer. She is survived by: her former spouse Jerry Tidwell; her husband Charles Claburn; and her children, Jerry (Rhonda Tidwell), Don (Sandi Tidwell), Opal Tidwell of Portales and Allen (Heather Claburn). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, her aunt Nona King of Albuquerque, NM, 2 nieces and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the New Mexico Christian Children's Home in Portales or a charity of your choice in her honor.
